FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix

The FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix, held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit  is one of the three street races of the FIA Formula One World Championships.

The 5.067km circuit made of public roads in and around the Raffles District and Marina  Bay areas of Singapore is principally a commercial district, consisting of retail, hospitality  and cultural centres together with an area of park land. Its 2008 inaugural in September attracted 110,000 spectators and was the first night-time event in Formula One history.

Singapore Grand Prix 2008 to 2012 – Confluence worked closely with Singapore Grand  Prix Corporation to manage the establishment, operation and removal of the racing circuit  and supporting facilities for both the 2008 and 2009 Singapore Grand Prix and was  recently re-contracted to project manage all aspects of the 2010 to 2012 events.

Confluence applies proven project management principles to the delivery of the  Singapore Grand Prix.  Typical design, procurement and delivery management functions  are part and parcel of the Confluence scope, along with extensive communication and liaison with an extensive list of Government Agencies and adjoining owners such as hotels, the Singapore Flyer and the Esplanade.
