Confluence delivered a total of seven hotels for the race and have received accolades for the successful opening of the event.

The F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi has been heralded as a success from around the world and these hotels formed a fabulous backdrop.

Confluence Takes Pole Position in FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix

Following Confluence's successful involvement in the recent two Events, Confluence has been issued a letter of intent for the contract of Engineering Project Manager for the 2010 - 2012 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.

The Singapore Grand Prix, held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit is one of the three street races of the FIA Formula One World Championships. The 5.067km circuit made of public roads in and around the Raffles District and Marina Bay areas of Singapore is principally a commercial district, consisting of retail, hospitality and cultural centres together with an area of park land. It's 2008 inaugural in September attracted 110,000 spectators and was the first night-time event in Formula One history.

Each year since 1980, the BBC has set aside one evening of programming on its flagship television channel, BBC One, to show events aimed at raising money exclusively for charities working with children in the UK. In 2008, the last completed event, the charity raised over £20 million, of which £13 million was raised on the broadcasted evening. BBC coverage also extends across the BBC's other television channels and national and local radio channels.

Confluence’s relationship with the BBC has developed successfully over the years, delivering projects like BBC West One on Oxford Street London, so when we were asked to manage the refurbishment of Middle Park Community Centre in Greenwich with the five Dragon’s Den entrepreneurs for their biggest annual charity event we jumped at the chance.
