Indonesia was our birthplace, when, in 1991, our Chairman, John Taylor, decided his Australian business needed to spread its wings. Projects in Jakarta quickly spread across Java, to Kalimantan, Sumatra, Bali and Sulewesi, and we continue to work in Indonesia until today.

Twenty plus years is a long time for many businesses and during that time we have seen the ebb and flow of economies across many markets.

However, Indonesia has always been a very happy place for the Confluence business, teaching us many valuable lessons about working in partnership with our Clients and industry colleagues and also helping us to understand that our solutions had to be flexible to suit each different business and social culture we operate in.
