Canadian High Commission, Singapore

Project Overview:

Confluence was appointed by Foreign Affairs Canada (FAC) to project manage and coordinate the design for the relocation of the Canadian High Commission from its previous premises to a new facility in one of Singapore’s newest and prestigious office towers – One George Street.

Situation/Challenges:

The project underwent initial delays due to increased briefing requirements. Confluence developed a compressed programme that reduced the original construction period from 90 days to just 65 days for approximately 3,000sqft of new high grade fit-out.

Outcome/Results:

The High commission was one of the first entrants into the newly constructed One George Street. Confluence worked closely with the building landlord, the High Commission staff in Singapore as well as the Department of Foreign Affairs – Canada to achieve a very high level of quality and security.

The project was completed on time and under budget in early December 2005.
