Project Overview:

Confluence is Project Managing the full refurbishment of the existing Hard Rock Cafe building into the Skin & Cancer Foundation facility. The new, not-for-profit Foundation centre will incorporate state-of-the-art clinic, laboratory and NSW Health Department Certified day procedure theatre facilities, as well as retail and commercial space, and car parking.

Situation/Challenges:

Confluence worked closely with Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia to formulate a project brief and cost plan before procuring a reputable Consultant team to execute the design. Given the ambitious timeframe prescribed for the foundation for occupation of the new facility, Confluence devised a bespoke method of Main Contract Procurement to facilitate timely delivery.

Outcome/Result:

After successfully letting a Design and Construct (AS 4000) Contract, Confluence are currently administering the Construction Phase and closely monitoring the Certification process to ensure all the Foundations project parameters are met.
