New Corporate Office

Project Overview:

The project scope comprises fitting out 65,000sqft of office space over two floors and relocating the business from its existing office to the new premises for a leading insurance market that provides specialist insurance services to businesses worldwide.

Situation/Challenges:

Unlike a traditional business structure, the client’s operation is made up of eighteen underwriting agents, each operating as independent business units (Managing Agents), requiring various sized offices, inclusions and design.

Without an internal real estate department in Singapore, Confluence was given the challenge of directly coordinating and managing the Managing Agents to ensure that their individual business office space requirements are aligned with the client’s charge-back proposal for the space.

Outcome/Result:

The high level project objective is to design and deliver a corporate office fitout focusing on promoting the client’s brand, meeting the end user’s functional needs and delivering value for money. The formulation of the projects technical brief and establishing the requirements and scope for each of the eighteen businesses is a significant risk and will be paramount to the success of the project.
