Barclays Capital, India

Project Overview:

As part of the bank’s regional development strategy in India, Barclays Capital is expanding its existing real estate portfolios in Mumbai (150,000sqft and 15,000sqft), Pune (7,700sqft) and Delhi (30,000sqft).

Confluence was appointed to assist the Barclays Capital Internal Capital Projects team in providing project and programme management for the due diligence, design and construction of their new real estate portfolios.

Situation/Challenges:

  • aggressive and stringent delivery timeline
  • obtaining approval from the Landlord to meet Barclays Business requirements
  • delivery delays of critical engineering equipments put significant pressure on the programme
  • offsite management of project from Mumbai required frequent site visit and coordination to ensure the project was always on track.

Outcome/Results:

Through strategic planning and constant tracking of the project, consistent management of the client’s expectations and the expert coordination of the client’s team, vendors and consultants, Confluence recently handed over the Pune branch to a very satisfied client, and within the 45-day timeline.
